Acceptable Use Policy

Effective August 28, 2026 · Version 1.0

This policy describes uses of the ZeroZAI service that are not permitted. It is part of the Terms of Service between ZEROZAI LLC and each customer, and it applies to every account, user, phone number and AI employee configuration.

1. Fraud and deception

  • Fraud, scams, phishing, vishing, or any attempt to obtain money, credentials, payment details or personal information under false pretenses.
  • Deceptive, misleading or false statements about your identity, your business, your pricing, your affiliations, or the outcome of a call.
  • Falsifying, spoofing or misrepresenting caller identification or the origin of a call or message.
  • Using the AI employee to make commitments you have no intention or ability to honor.

2. Impersonation

You may not configure or use the AI employee to impersonate any person or organization you are not authorized to represent. This includes, without limitation:

  • Government agencies, courts, law enforcement, tax authorities or regulators.
  • Emergency services, dispatchers, or any emergency response function.
  • Banks, lenders, payment providers or other financial institutions.
  • Hospitals, clinics, insurers or other medical organizations.
  • Well-known brands, retailers, carriers or technology companies.
  • Public figures, celebrities, or any specific real individual.
  • Another business, or any person, without their documented authorization.

You must not present the AI employee in a way designed to make a caller believe they are speaking to a specific named human when they ask directly whether they are speaking with a person.

3. Unlawful calling and messaging

  • Illegal telemarketing, unsolicited automated calls or texts, or calls to numbers on applicable do-not-call registries where prohibited.
  • Ignoring opt-out, stop or do-not-contact requests from a caller or recipient.
  • High-volume, repeated or robocall-style outbound campaigns that violate applicable law or carrier rules.
  • Messaging that violates carrier or industry messaging requirements, including prohibited content categories.

4. Harassment and harm

  • Harassment, threats, intimidation, stalking, hate speech, or abusive or degrading conduct toward any person.
  • Content that sexually exploits or endangers minors.
  • Encouraging or facilitating self-harm, violence, or harm to others.
  • Unlawful debt collection practices.

5. Surveillance and privacy violations

  • Recording, monitoring or transcribing calls where you have not given the notices or obtained the consents required by law.
  • Using the service for covert surveillance, eavesdropping or wiretapping.
  • Collecting sensitive personal information from callers without a lawful basis, or collecting more than your stated purpose requires.
  • Selling or disclosing caller information in violation of law or of the promises your business has made to that caller.

6. Emergency and safety-critical use

You may not use, market or present the service as a way to reach emergency services, or rely on it for medical, safety, life-support, crisis, or other situations where a failure to answer or an inaccurate response could cause injury or serious harm.

7. Security and integrity of the service

  • Attempting to bypass, disable or interfere with authentication, access controls, business separation, usage limits, trial restrictions, metering or billing.
  • Probing, scanning or testing the security of the service without our prior written permission.
  • Reverse engineering, scraping, or attempting to extract source code, prompts or internal configuration.
  • Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional trial allowances or to evade a suspension.
  • Introducing malware, or overloading or disrupting the service or the networks it depends on.
  • Automated or excessive use that degrades the service for other customers.

8. Other illegal activity

You may not use the service for any activity that is illegal in your jurisdiction or in the jurisdiction of the people you communicate with, including the sale of prohibited goods or services, money laundering, sanctions evasion, or infringement of intellectual property rights.

9. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate accounts, disable phone numbers, remove content or configuration, and report activity to providers or authorities where appropriate. Serious violations may result in immediate termination without notice. See the Terms of Service for the full suspension and termination terms.

10. Reporting abuse

To report suspected misuse of the service, email hello@zerozai.com with as much detail as you can provide, including the phone number involved and the date and time.
